About Scanimart

01The problem we started with

Indian retail runs on neighbourhood marts and supermarkets that people genuinely like shopping in. What they do not like is the last five minutes: a single billing counter, a queue that does not move, and a paper receipt that goes straight in the bin.

For the store the same five minutes are just as costly. Billing staff are expensive, the counter is a bottleneck at exactly the busiest hour, stock counts drift out of date, and nobody knows what customers picked up, considered, and put back.

Scanimart removes the counter from the equation for both sides, without asking the store to rip out its shelves or the shopper to learn anything new.

02Our vision

We envision a future where shopping is fast, efficient, and completely hassle-free — where long checkout lines, outdated inventory management, and operational guesswork are simply things that used to happen.

We are not only a technology vendor. We are building an intelligent, frictionless retail ecosystem in which the shopper’s experience and the retailer’s economics improve at the same time, from the same system.

03How shopping with Scanimart works

• Open the app. It detects the participating store you are standing in — nothing to type, nothing to set up.
• Point your phone at a product, or scan its barcode or QR code. It is recognised instantly and one tap drops it into your cart with a live running total.
• Pay in the app through a secure payment gateway. Your itemised bill is generated the moment payment succeeds.
• Show the exit gate pass QR on your way out. No queue, no paper, no counter.

Scan-and-go checkout inside partner stores, Scanimart GO delivery from nearby marts, digital invoices, and the exit gate pass. This is the app most people mean when they say Scanimart.

Scanimart Retailer app and partner portal

Real-time inventory and pricing control, smart restocking alerts, live sales visibility, digital receipts, and a dashboard that shows a store owner what is actually selling instead of what they assume is selling.

Scanimart Staff app

Shift scheduling, attendance, task assignment, and delivery coordination for store and delivery staff, including live tracking during an active Scanimart GO delivery.

The platform underneath

• Product recognition from barcodes, QR codes, and on-device image matching.
• Automated billing and secure digital payments, with no counter hardware required.
• Predictive analytics that forecast demand so stores order the right stock at the right time.

06Where we are today

Scanimart is an early-stage company growing store by store. At the time of writing we have crossed 400 app downloads, more than 1,200 completed checkouts, over 70 reviews, and 10+ marts onboarded. These numbers move; the page you are reading is updated less often than they do.

We would rather onboard each store properly — catalogue, pricing, staff training, exit process — than claim a bigger number and deliver a worse first shop.

07How we treat your data

A shopping app that watches you scan things has to be straight about what it keeps. Our position is simple:

• We collect what the service needs — your account details, your cart and transactions, and the store you are in — and we say so plainly in our Privacy Policy.
• Location is used to detect the store you are shopping in and to route deliveries. The Staff app collects background location during active deliveries only, and never for advertising.
• We never store your full card number, UPI PIN, or CVV. Payments are handled by regulated payment gateways.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run third-party ad networks inside the Customer app.
• You can delete your account and your data at any time. Our Data & Account Deletion page tells you exactly how, what goes, and what the law requires us to keep.

08The team

Scanimart was founded by Sankalp Jain (Founder & CEO) and Pradeep Yadav (Co-Founder), and is built by a small team of engineers and retail operators who spend a lot of time standing inside marts watching how people actually shop.

The company behind the product is Snappikart Techlabs Private Limited, registered at Manju Kunj, Ranchi, Jharkhand 834001, India, with operations in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
